LOL the best governor ships illegals around helping spread them throughout the country instead of doing what he has authority to do which is deport them or contain them since they are illegally invading a foreign country and if the Fed Govt is not abiding by the constitution to keep the state safe the governor is the next authority to make it happen. Instead Ronnie is helping the enemy.

Sorry to burst your bubble about your perfect little Governor. The fact of the matter is that he lied to the people of Florida when he ran for re-election last November. Anybody with half-a-brain would be able to figure that out themselves. He promised to finish the second term, if they gave it to him. He didn't decide overnight to run for President, and he didn't decide that day in May he announced his candidacy. That crap takes months of planning, with the help of people willing to back you, and help you along the way. He obviously didn't have much faith in his Presidential campaign, otherwise he wouldn't have had the State Legislature change the Resign-to-Run law, so he'd continue to get a paycheck while out campaigning, and so he'd have a job to go back to after he crashed and burned. The day he announced his candidacy is the day he signed that Bill.

The only other Florida Governor that changed that Law was Charlie Crist, who wasn't only a Rino, but chose to become a Democrat in an attempt to save his political career. Crist thought he was going to be McCain's V.P. choice, so as a safety net, he got the Law changed to protect himself. He didn't do it for the people of Florida.

It was Republican Governor Rick Scott that changed the Law back to its original form, only to have DeSantis change it again to help himself.

And you must realize that DeSantis wouldn't be anything if he hadn't had a more than 2-1 Republican majority in the Florida State Legislature since he's been Governor. He didn't get those things accomplished on his own. He had plenty of help. He's never served in public office during Democrat majorities...not even in the House of Representatives before he quit to run for Governor. He's not a miracle worker by any means. Anything good that was implemented in Florida during DeSantis's time in office, it happened because of the support he had from the State Legislature. The little twerp doesn't walk on water you know.
