I only heard it at work a few years ago. Some of the docs without sleep were using it. Sometimes they would say Lean Forward.

It meant push a little harder. It implies running out of energy or ideas, then applying a lean in that direction.

Really not that different from don’t give up or keep going in the setting I was hearing it.
