BTW, this is very similar to the ending of a dream/nightmare I have sometimes. It always ends with me seeing the wave coming, feeling my skin melt, then I wake up.
Never exactly the same, but always same ending.
I stole that off the internet last century. I always liked it just like it is, but it’s got great potential.
