I have retreated for 15 years on and off. Nothing really major, I don’t really bash anyone. I certainly don’t threaten or stalk.
It’s been just a bit of a game, I’ve found another site lately that I actually can talk a bit more and bash the owner without being banned. It’s more open, and that’s a huge thing.
FR is a closed site. You bow to JR and bukakke or else.
I slept through the 2008 purge. I was overseas and logged in the next day to see the smoldering ruins.
I left for a while as the 2012 election was approaching. It got a little too contentious to the point of being very tiresome. And I loathed both of the people running for Prez anyway.
FR is going to get another purge, but JR might be too sick to pull it off. He seems to be letting people like bukkake run the place now.
It’s kinda sad, but they’ll ban me and hate all newcomers and the site will die with JR. And JR led that mentality, and that’s how it is.

Do you guys go by IPs or only cookies? Early on it was both. Later with VPN and cookie awareness to delete I bet it got harder for you guys.

IPs are useless in this day and age. Patterns stick out more than many believe.
Eh, JR told me after he banned me the first time I donated the next week cause the old howlin led coven took a hard time on me. I asked for a refund and he said ‘I don’t know what to tell you’ then he said ‘up yours’ and he knew it was me.

Snowden basically said in 2013 it only took a bit. I’ve tried to randomize my responses and patterns, but it takes just too much effort even on short posts.

The best way to track anyone would be through an email (I do use proton also).. but you have to know how to read the header info to track.

Don’t worry, we can’t see any of your email info. Just a few of us that keep an eye out for patterns... people always slip-up.
(BTW, I was a retread long ago. Was zotted for getting drunk one night and being stupid (around 2005 or 2006 I think... it happens).
Not all retreads are bad. Just the ones that like to stir things up.
For me, lesson learned (don’t drink and type).
