Most killing is by people who know each other. Whites know more whites. Hispanics know Hispanics. Blacks know Blacks.
Amazing number of murders and near murders are boyfriend v ex. Best friend gets drunk and does stupid.
A city has a 1,000 murders. Not more that 2 events per week hit the media. The media selectively reports some and not others.
When I was in inner city Chicago there were 7 murders on my block in 1 year. None were covered by the media. At the same time there were murders/assasinations of political anti-macine activist friends of mine. The media did not cover those those murders either.
The media is selective in its news...news about murder, news about politics, news about the economy, news about the weather, news that impacts their advertisers.
Do you think the media is either a) pushing the agenda that blacks are more likely to kill than others with no statistical support, or b) there is statistical support for this and the media is actually reporting facts?
