A new form of cutout in a conspiracy - insert a senile guy, by the time the DOJ gets around to it he will be dead or unable to testify.

Ockham’s Razor applies here: The simplest explanation is usually the right one.

And the simplest explanation is that Biden is, well, a simpleton. Always has been. It’s nothing new.

”This is a mishmash of multiple phrases possibly from a John Wayne movie (’she wore a yellow ribbon’) that almost no one today remembers.”

I remember it very well. A great movie. One part of the John Ford cavalry trilogy: “Fort Apache;” “Rio Grande;” and “She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.”

And, don’t apologize; it’s sign of weakness.

He’s too out of it to remember to talk in code.

100% Agreed. I think I posted on Free Republic somewhere that the recent “God save the Queen” was a “Go” signal for something nefarious. I agree it could just have been verification code of some kind. He’s not very sharp, but I think at least some of his gaffes are code of some sort to someone for something, and it’s not good.

During the conquest of the West, the Army would hire Indians to help them track the Indians they were hunting. They didn’t get the best gear or horses, but they became known as ‘pony soldiers’ to the Indians they were tracking.

So it means a plant or a traitor or a subversive. Biden actually used it in context because he was thinking the person at his rally was a conservative plant.

Just saying...

Now you’re not gonna find them easy to follow. They’re not using normal procedures they’re using some kind of code.

What kind of code?

Well there’s words like bank heist, crap game, Big Joe, Little Joe.. 🤔

“But what if it is not that, but a code for “you can trust the third party surrogate who just approached you for a shakedown on behalf of the potus”?”

This I REALLY don’t get. It would mean Biden was speaking code to some unknown person to trust someone also unknown person who was looking to extort money, as by blackmail for information on Biden? And Biden is saying ‘you can trust this guy’? Now that makes NO sense.

So, if ‘Dog face pony soldiers’ was a code by Biden I think it would more likely mean, “listen up, all...we’re going to hell in a handbasket’.

Bard:

The phrase “lying dog-faced pony soldier” is a nonsensical idiom that was popularized by former US President Joe Biden. Biden has said that he first heard the phrase from his brother, who claimed it was from a John Wayne movie. However, there is no evidence that the phrase ever appears in any John Wayne film.

The phrase is a jumble of words that are associated with Native Americans, the Wild West, and the military. The word “pony soldier” is a derogatory term for a US soldier, and the phrase “dog-faced” is a slang term for someone who is ugly or foolish. The word “lying” suggests that the person being referred to is not trustworthy.

It is unclear what Biden meant when he used the phrase “lying dog-faced pony soldier.” Some people have interpreted it as a harmless joke, while others have seen it as a sign of Biden’s age and declining mental faculties. Regardless of its meaning, the phrase has become a part of Biden’s legacy.

Here are some other possible interpretations of the phrase:

It could be a reference to the Native American practice of calling white people “dogs.”
It could be a reference to the fact that US soldiers were often called “pony soldiers” by Native Americans because they rode horses.
It could be a reference to the fact that US soldiers were often seen as liars and cheats by Native Americans.

Ultimately, the meaning of the phrase “lying dog-faced pony soldier” is up to the individual to decide. However, it is clear that the phrase is a nonsensical idiom that has no real meaning.

Apparently Biden used dog faced pony soldier in 2018:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7987957/amp/Humiliated-student-Joe-Biden-called-lying-dog-faced-pony-soldier-speaks-out.html

And the phrase itself is from a 1952 Tyrone movie, “pony soldier” (not a John Wayne movie).

I’m still thinking about biden’s malaprops in the large— why so many?

Here is how it would be used in practice:

Say you were a straight shooter in current day USA and you were in a position of power. Suddenly a political hot potato lands in your lap.

Let’s say the hot potato is a court case with defendant Hunter Biden and you are judge noreika or David Weiss. Presumably, you have a family, a job, a boss, a home mortgage, and a pension.

You are vaguely aware that your decision on the upcoming matter will change the course of US/world history for better or otherwise— it’s a big deal.

They’re going to try to influence you. In a private communication. You get approached by some random person who delivers a short succinct message.

However, how do you know it is from the person you think it is from?

Let’s say it’s an offer of $4M in a numbered Malta or Cayman Islands bank account. Or unregistered cut diamonds in a bus stop locker. Whatever.

If you considered taking the bribe, You’d want to verify that the offer is from the person with the power to deliver the bribe and protection along with it.

If it was ultimately from joe b, then you’d want to know that.

So the problem would be how to verify the senders identity from that of a kook or a spoofer.

The solution would be an out of band signal. You have no private comment channel with joe b. But joe b can still signal you through a nonsense message I a public channel, for example, in a public speech.

So you use that: you ask Biden to use a nonsense phrase which is meaningless to anyone but you. In this case, it’s a confirmation of identity (but it could be more that that once the senders identity is confirmed). You supply the nonsense phrase to the random person (iow, the private comm channel). Then you monitor joe b’s speeches until you hear the nonsense phrase (John has a long mustache or whatever). If you don’t hear the phrase, assume it is a kook who contacted you and relatively safe to ignore. If you hear joe b use your nonsense phrase, then you know that joe b is the actual sender and the random person is a trusted intermediary).

This mechanism would work for either carrots or sticks. It would allow carrot or stick message delivery on behalf of joe b or any other powerful grifter without any direct person to person contact (desirable for criminals and spies).

I have no proof but it is something to think about, especially if there seems to be an abnormal amount of noise mixed in with the usual banal political speeches.
