The insistence that they don't exist. No different than the belief that they do.

The universe is big and old. The elements that make up our planet exist everywhere. Stars with rocky planets containing water exist. What happened on them millions or billions of years ago is anybody's guess. Speculation.

But the assertion that nothing happened and that no life arose therein is simply a matter of faith.

Not so, it’s based on the fact that we have no evidence of life existing anywhere else - and certainly not of anything that could bop around the universe in spacecraft.
