Ive never had a problem with returns and get refunded right away.
I take the item just as is, no packaging at all, to Kohls customer service with just a return code on my phone, they scan it and do all the rest.

Yup. You can also return Amazon stuff at Whole Foods.

I only have problems with people like the OP who draw grand conclusions from one-time happenings.
