We used Hoeggers herbal wormer on a regular basis and did ivermectin subcu injections twice a year. Never had a problem.

That is nice! It’s all about your location and climate, I believe. Ivermectin as a goat wormer has become less effective here in GA due to over use, but combined with Valbazen it still works well. (Ps None of my goats got Covid 😁)

I usually only need a chemical dewormer about once a year (spring usually) or after kidding, and some of goats never need deworming which is amazing. They always show a tiny amount of worms on fecal. I rotate pastures as I can, and always feed their hay off the ground.

My farm vet says I have the healthiest herd she’s ever seen around here and I must be doing something right lol.

It is an expensive hobby, though.
