eI wish i could find it again. I saw a document that VP Pence signed for Mitch, that said he (Pence) would not open alternate elector certifications.(I'll continue to look)

VP Pence was required by the Constitution and Title 3 (which codified the Electoral Count Act ) to open all certificates(Constitution) and Title 3 (As the custodian for papers, the Senate president is required by the Constitution to "open all the certificates," which the Act further describes as "all the certificates and papers purporting to be certificates)

It's Congress that resolves the disputed electors.

It's my understanding that alternate certificates of electors were submitted - incorrectly - to the Archivist (They should have gone to the President of The Senate first)and they did not pass them on to The President of The Senate.

and supposedly all that was legit...under what law ?

Sorry. I didn't follow the alternate certificates of electors.

The official objection was very simple. In reference to how 2020 election was conducted:
"(was) all of the known circumstances, regularly given"?

That was the objection very simple and straight forward. No one could vote "yes" to that unless they where threatened. Which they where when they lied to congress saying, "MAGA attacked them." Remember with intent they murdered people. The attack was directed at congress. They wanted to make sure congress was actually afraid of MAGA.

Though if the vote on Jan 6 went our way no certificates from any electors would be accepted until a proper investigation into the election took place.
