Your fabulous Republican Marxist Senator helped change election rules so that they could shut down the oil industry, cutting off oil's huge contributions to state coffers thus mandating finding another source of revenue - as I understand it.

I recall being in Juneau (the largest capital city in the US BTW) and the legislature constitutionally had to have all business done by March 31st (April 30th?).
They unplugged the clock at 11:58 PM and worked for a few more hours...
