The actual reporting from Ukraine should be the actual reporting we got from Vietnam when I was a kid.
Every week the US military said x number of US soldiers killed, x number of South Vietnamese killed and the estimate of North Vietnamese-Viet Cong killed.
Why no such numbers from this Ukraine War?
That kind of information is readily available from media and public sources in Russia and Ukraine.
In Kyiv they even have a wall with pictures and names of the Ukrainians who gave their lives for their nation, like the wall we have for those who lost their lives in the Vietnam war, but the Ukrainians have done it right away.
The Ukrainian government publishes its statement regarding the losses of the Russians daily. Russia does a similar thing regarding Ukraine. And local sources have details about funerals, and individuals who were killed or wounded.
If you really want to see real-time information you can look at videos posted of many combat engagements. And count the dead and wounded for yourself.
