Miss Unlucky Black, who had the great misfortune to pass the exam by a mere one point margin and had to actually teach in NYC schools for 20 years to earn a comparable sum will be consulting a lawyer.
He should be flipping burgers, not teaching anything.
These people should be suing the schools they attended, and got their degrees from, if they couldn’t understand the exams they took to qualify to teach. Obviously other minorities have taken the same tests and passed, and become teachers. Must be something wrong with the schools they went to.
Wasn’t there some utility case where a court said an employment test had to be relevant to the job?
