Senior lawmakers are increasingly demanding that military and other government officials provide them with information about intelligence on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).
The demands reflect frustrations on the part of some lawmakers that they are being kept in the dark about what’s known about UFOs and UAPs.
The lawmakers do not necessarily believe the government is hiding signs of extraterrestrial life from the public and congressional oversight. But they are frustrated they are not learning more about unknown objects flying in restricted U.S. air space.
“My primary interest in this topic is if there are … object[s] operating over restricted air space, it’s not ours and we don’t know whose it is, that’s a problem that we need to get to the bottom of,” said Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

“Right now, what I know is reliable people tell us that and we’ve seen objects operating over restricted military and national security airspace. They claim it’s not ours. They claim they don’t know whose it is. That’s like the definition of a national security threat,” he said.
“Either there’s an answer that exists and is not being provided, or there is no answer. Beyond that, I don’t want to speculate anything,” he added.
Rubio said he was familiar with the claims of David Grusch, a career intelligence officer who worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. He claims the federal government has retrieved “non-human origin technical vehicles” that have landed or crashed on Earth.

How does it become a distraction if it doesn't get much attention in the media? Besides, most people don't spend much time with this sort of thing. A thirty second news spot doesn't buy a lot of distraction.
Now, I'm going to tell you something that is completely from my point of view. I'm 73, and almost immobile. I spend most of my time alone and never had much influence on anyone no matter how hard I tried. So, I am sure that there is nothing I can do to turn the tide of our failing Nation. Nothing at all. That makes the Joe Biden news stories and all the crap in the news become entirely uninteresting to me. This UFO crap does interest me.

It could be true. But it could also be “LOOK SQUIRREL”. The military has been corrupted, the government has been corrupted. There are surely some who are not corrupted, but which ones? I am waiting for evidence from someone I can trust which has become a very, very short list. I remain unconvinced either way.
You'd think that would be a "tell". Think of this from the others' perspective: They make those maneuvers, come and go in spectacular ways, hover over large cities ... and get ignored. We are known throughout the Multiverse as the Ostrich People.
I’d prefer their energies were focused upon secure elections without vulnerabilities rather than pursuing pipedreams intended to distract mere simpletons.

The UFO thing interests me too. It would probably require travel faster than the speed of light. It could be true, but it also may not be true. I am open to persuasion. The government refusal to release information could be because they have no information. Or maybe not.

I agree. It could be like "Russia Collusion" and like "Covid VAX will save you" or it could be that aliens are telling us "communism will be the end of you".

Hope you don’t mind me stepping in to respectfully make an important point. Everyone is treating this as a fresh new phenomenon since the 40s. And only renewed recently as a current psyops distraction.
But in true perspective this phenomenon actually began with the beginning of man documenting their own history. It was written about over 5.000 years ago. It is not at all new... My own perspective is from this ancient reality.

I agree that this is not new. But it could (or may not be) a psy-op distraction. I don’t see evidence either way. If there were beings advanced enough to travel here, why wouldn’t they order us to shape up, or else?

My perspective is they have been here forever. If they came from elsewhere it was a long long time ago. They could even be from another space/time dimension. But they have been around since long before man. And I believe with our current idiocy with this WWIII they are indeed very concerned that we are going to screw up, use nuclear weapons, and take them out along with us. This would explain why they have such an interest in our nuclear facilities and capabilities since the 40s. Hence their recent efforts to let us see them more often and know we are not alone...
So I think they are indeed about to reprimand us and show us what kind of hornets nest we are playing with. They have been in defensive mode and benign for thousands of years. I fear that if we do not wise up, they are going to go into offensive mode and give us a rude awakening.
If it’s a distraction, why is the DOD (and the MSM) trying to prevent any discussion of it?

Because it makes the psyop they’re using on us more effective. They use our distrust of them and their denials to feed our interest. The manipulation from the pandemic had a limited shelf life, but space aliens, that doesn’t expire. The lockdowns will be beyond astonishing!
