The left wouldn't be planning all these crackdowns if they weren't 100% sure they will be in power five, ten or fifteen years from now. Otherwise, these rules would be revoked by future Republican governments.

An important part of the president’s job is to say “hell, no” to the wilder schemes put forth by his staff. Biden is now far too senile to even begin to perform this function, and so this is what we get.

The last time things got this crazy was FDR’s first term. FDR wasn’t senile, but he was an economic idiot, which allowed all kinds of stupid schemes to get put into action until the Supreme Court finally said NO!
