There is a Japanese product called Nattokinase, which has been shown to gently dissolve blood clots. It has long been touted as an anti-stroke, anti-heart attack remedy.

Natto is fermented soy beans, which smells and tastes bad, though some people eat it out of tradition. In the fermentation process, bacteria form a clear, viscous slime between the beans. And it is from this slime that dry Nattokinase powder is obtained. The powder neither tastes or smells bad, and is taken in pill form.

Does it dissolve plaque on the walls of arteries and blood vessels?
