Good women are hard to find these days. I’ll be 43 in a couple of months, and the dating market is trash, especially if you’ve waste time and money on the dating apps. Many modern women, at least in my age group, are overweight (if not downright obese), entitled, dismissive, and in general seem to lack substance. Been on a lot of first dates trying to carry a dead conversation, and keep a positive attitude despite feeling like I was interviewing for a job.
I was lucky enough to find a good woman. Still with her after 40 years and 3 kids.
She has put up with me and hasn’t stabbed me in my sleep (yet).
If I could give any advice to a man, it’s this: look for a woman who displays an interest in keeping you happy. She doesn’t need to be a top earning professional. She doesn’t need to be very beautiful.
You can tell whether someone loves you by the degree to which she makes an effort to enhance your happiness and well being.
Don’t marry a woman because you think you love her. Marry the woman who loves YOU.

Dating apps ARE the problem, along with women being addicted to ‘likes’ on social media. We’re generating whole generations of women that are narcissists. They all think they’re a 10, have endless lists of demands as their ‘minimum standard’ and have zero idea, nor seem to care, about what MEN want. They think they’re such ‘the prize’ that men should just count themselves lucky.
YouTube is full of videos about this. The term ‘passport bro’ is now a thing, men going to east Asia, Romania, Russia, where women are more traditional. Women in their 30’s and 40’s divorce their husbands, while having kids, and think the dating market is like when they were 20 - and that their value is the same. They believe men ‘value’ their career and degree without realizing men don’t care about that. They’ve swallowed the feminist lie that they can ‘have it all’ and believe men value that lie too. What ends up happing? They realize no men will commit to them and that they’ve ‘hit the wall’ - dating is waaaaay harder than they thought it’d be. Of course, their conclusion is “what’s wrong with MEN”. SMH. They have no sense of self awareness, of what men want, and are self centered to the extreme. They can’t be trusted to make another commitment, they’re toxic.
The dating app stats don’t lie. 90% of women swipe for the 5% of men, those that are 6’+ tall, have a 6 pack abs, and a 6 figure salary. These women are shocked to find that these 5% of men won’t commit to them....astonishing, when you’re divorced, with kids, have endless requirements, aren’t what men want, and have many others to compete with you. Then pile on the courts and their favoritism to women, why bother?
I don’t envy you. Trying to find a woman that doesn’t have baggage yet has purity and a nice feminine demeanor is almost impossible. It’s a mess and not good for anyone, men, women, or kids.
