Former President Barack Obama has shared his playlist of his current favorite songs for Summer 2023. His latest picks include selections by The Rolling Stones (“Soul Survivor,”) Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj (“Princess Diana”) Aretha Franklin (“Dr.Feelgood (Love Is A Serious Buisness”) and Jorja Smith (“Try Me”) in addition to cuts from SZA, Boygenius, Pearl Jam, John Coltrane, Janelle Monae, Marvin Gaye and many more.
“Like I do every year, here are some songs I’ve been listening to this summer—a mix of old and new,” Obama tweeted along with his selections. “Look forward to hearing what I’ve missed.” You can see his 2023 Summer Playlist in full below.
Obama has made a twice-yearly habit of sharing lists of his favorite books, music, and movies. His top songs of 2022 included tracks by Rosalía, Maggie Rogers, Kendrick Lamar and Bad Bunny, with Mdou Moctar, Mitski, the War on Drugs and more receiving those honors in 2021.
In June, when interviewer Hasan Minhaj asked if he really made his own selections for the playlists, the former president offered a gentle defense. “People seem to think, ‘Well, he must’ve had some 20-year-old intern who was figuring out this latest cut,’” he said, continuing, “No, man! It’s on my iPad right now!”

Heard recently somewhere that whatever music we liked when we were age 14 will be the only music we truly like and respect for the rest of our lives. The new stuff is just noise.
Once the industry died out when young people stole the music as digital downloads and shared it, there was no filter or editorial judgment on top.

Obama is one of the worst things to happen to our country. Whether you agree or not,.. this country was formed with Biblical principles. We have been the greatest..we have been blessed.
Today there is a dark cloud hanging over our land.. a heavy dark heavy cĺoud.. leaders are held to a higher standard, and our leaders are corrupt all the way to the top.
Barry apologized for our greatness and he stated we are not a Christian nation. He is a muslim, and they are anti Isreal. (Theres more to that statement)..
He ..the leader.. announced our nation was going to be fundamentally changed, under his guidance and his control.
