A doorbell camera captured the moment a motorist's car literally flew into an occupied home while speeding down a residential street - killing the elderly driver instantly and narrowly missing a three-year-old child inside the home.
The fatal crash happened in St. Louis, Missouri, Tuesday, and left a literal hole in the occupied home on Kingston Drive.
Veronica Schoettle, said her three-year-old nephew was on a bed near that wall when the car struck the home at frightening speeds that appeared to be around 100mph, and even pushed the bed along with the child several feet, NBC 4 reported.
Schoettle, who rents the home, said three other people were inside at the time, and that her nephew was uninjured.
As for the driver, police have yet to release a name, but confirmed in a statement to DailyMail.com she had been 'an adult female of 73 years of age.'
She was pronounced dead at the scene, shortly before a preliminary investigation found the vehicle had been driving well over the road's 40mph speed limit.

Makes me glad our house is not close to the road.
That was one of the non-negotiable requirements when we were house hunting.
Wow.
One image has a bit of the car showing. It looks like the top of the car is on the floorboards. Completely caved in.
It hit the house roof first. NO WAY anyone could haver survived that.
I’m guessing a medical emergency and she was eaither dead when the car went airborn or unconcious and died on impact when the car was pulverized.
It didn’t matter in this case, but I always thought you’d have to be nuts to live in a house facing the top of a T intersection. Especially in places that get snow.
Most poop their bloomers at 80
few sober go to 100
real driving begins at 130+.
That’s when you can begin to feel G-Forces in curves and the airdyn & pressure effects on the body.

My only experience with Traffic Court was at 17 years of age. I had the audacity to ride my bicycle without a light. As I waited for my case to be called, most of the other cases were run-of-the-mill violations. There was, however, a young woman who must have been in quite a hurry. The suburban road she was driving was a few miles long, no stop signs, and absolutely straight, no curves whatsoever. The posted speed limit is 30 mph. As the judge read the case, there was an audible ‘oh, my’ by many in the court room. She was caught driving 85mph. When the judge asked her why, she was smart enough to not even answer. She was young enough that I bet her insurance was increased (just a tad/s).
In later years I would drive down that same road and try to imagine traveling 85mph. I never attempted to experience it, and I am sure all the squirrels and cats appreciated my discretion.
If you listen you can hear the car hit something just before you see it fly into and through the the house.
She likely had a medical emergency prior to that.
Wow.
Prayers up for her family, and praise to our Lord that no one was hurt in the house.
73-year-old driver. Medical issue?
***For sale: Used car, only driven by 73 year old grandmother***
No sweat! It was St Louis! The scrappers will get the car, find two or three more wrecks and combine them into one workable car. Then run it down into Arkansas where they can sell it as an abandoned car. For $45 they can get a new clean title showing it has never been wrecked!
Do you give them the option of erasing it?
Safe and effected vax as long as your not doing 100.
Wow. It doesn’t look like they were at the end of a street or a curve. Looks like it could have been any house on the row.
I like that, what is the average the videos are selling for?
i suspect that it didn’t happen in that order
Sure then i call them in a month and ask if they really want me to erase the original
This was the wreck that started it all The grandpa in the truck was killed
Sad, sounds very much like a heart attack or a blackout, with a foot stuck on the accelerator. Lucky nobody else died.
Couldn’t she just ring the doorbell?
