I saw the stage version with Ian Gillian of Deep Purple as Jesus.

The stage play is great, and Herod’s Song is one of the best parts. I’ve seen the play many times, performed by school students and by professionals.

But, I don’t remember watching the whole movie. It looks terrible, except they got this part right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-3RQeYDVgw

Notice the hippies back then loved Jesus.
