It’s doesn’t make sense to spend all that money for college plus having to pay back a loan, most likely to be forgiven, to look for a job when the politicians have provided every one with a livable wage. That is along with government financial support like welfare, unemployment, AFDC, and other cash incentives and protection to not work unless you consider playing grand theft auto a career.

I am still trying to understand why a loan should be forgiven. Was it wrong to get one?

Maybe because it was wrong for the government to GIVE one for dubious degrees in suspect studies with no foresight as to how it might be paid back.

Sort of like sueing the for-profit colleges, maybe all these debt ridden students should sue the federal government for massive loan fraud, as the feds were the only way to get a loan to go to a university which didn’t teach you well enough or prepare you to repay that loan for severely overpriced schooling.
