Traffic was stopped on the Russian-built Crimean Bridge due to "an emergency" situation, Russia-installed officials said on Monday, while Ukrainian media reported blasts on the bridge.
Sergei Aksyonov, a Russian-installed governor, said the emergency occurred on the 145th pillar of the bridge which links the Crimean peninsula to the Russian region of Krasnodar.

You are kidding right? There were a large number of ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads in Ukraine's possession. Why do you think the USA and other nations made a deal with them to decommission and remove the weapons?
You mean those Russians that fought in WW2? Like the 98 year old guys that are still alive here?
The Russians that remember what happened with Bandera are probably the KGB agents who murdered him, even though he was a victim of the Nazis, spent years in Nazi concentration camps, and actually helped some Jews to survive that period of war.
Even though Russians love to use it as a propaganda talking point, Ukraine has has fewer Nazi sympathizers that either Russia or the USA.
A lot of Poles too.
The statement above is correct. Ukraine had many nuclear weapons and gave them up when the Budapest Memorandum was signed. They were betrayed.
The Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances comprises three substantially identical political agreements signed at the OSCE conference in Budapest, Hungary, on 5 December 1994, to provide security assurances by its signatories relating to the accession of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
As a result of other agreements and the memorandum, between 1993 and 1996, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons.
The initiators provided security guarantees to each country that implements the memorandum separately.
The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, The United States of America:
Reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, in accordance with the principles of the CSCE Final Act, to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan.
Reaffirm their obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan, and that none of their weapons will ever be used against Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan except in self-defense or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.
Reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan in accordance with the Principles of the CSCE Final Act, to refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.
Reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan, as a non-nuclear-weapon state party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, if Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used.

Tell me who was the Ukrainian military Director of strategic nuclear weapons. You can’t
What’s the problem? Someone else pointed out that Ukrainians remember the holodomor, And use that as their justification for today. So Ukrainians can remember the ussr of the 1940s, and 1930s. But Russians can’t remember Nazis of that era? Interesting.
What a wacky question.
You need a course in logical fallacies of argumentation.
The Crimean bridge is an illegal Russian construction as far as Ukraine is concerned and therefore a military target.
Indeed. Ukraine had the third stockpile of ballistic nuclear missiles of the planet! And indeed... Russia, USA, UK negotiated with Ukraine in order to make them agree to get rid of all those weapons.
Ukraine finally agreed and signed the Budapest Memorandum, which gave Ukraine assurance its borders and sovereignty would be respected by Russia - (in return for Ukraine giving up their nukes).
Russia RAPED the deal in 2014 by invading Crimea and Donbas regions in Ukraine.
USA and UK RESPECTED the deal by helping Ukraine defend itself. Although I have to say, Obama largely disrespected the deal back in 2014, he mostly sent blankets to Ukraine and shared military information - but no weapons.
We had to wait for the arrival of TRUMP to finally send massive shiploads of high-tech weapons to Ukraine! Among other weapons, Trump inundated Ukraine with Javelin missiles. That alone together with brave and efficient Ukrainian soldiers later successfully saved Kiev from the Russian invasion of North-West Ukraine in 2022.
