I can't believe there are Freepers arguing in this thread about "public vs. private" spaces on Facebook.

Any Freeper on Facebook is a [ epithet ] fool who needs to be [ epithet ] [ epithet ] immediately. You are the product on Facebook, old fool.

I don’t know if you’re attacking me or supporting.

But the point is, there are “private” groups where the posting only appears and cannot be seen unless you are an accepted member of that group.

HOWEVER, you can take a posting from that group and post it for anyone who is connected to YOU (“friends”) to see (“sharing”). You can be a “private” person or a “public” person, but that doesn’t matter if one of your “friends” doesn’t like it or further shares this “offensive” material.

Bottom line, “privacy” is pretty thin on FB, but technically it exists. But it’s thin because you can share things around so that someone finds out who doesn’t like it.
