Yeah, my thought is that if the no go websites are not too numerous, I can still fall back on Chrome very occasionally, and Google will get a very incomplete “picture” of me, which I can even manipulate to a modest degree if I wish.

I7 6th gen processor, 16 GB RAM DDR4-3200 UDIMM (although I’m trying out a 2nd 16 GB stick just to see if it makes much difference - not so far), 500 GB NVME M.2 OS and Programs SSD (Page File there too, but I don’t expect it to get touched), 500 GB data SSD, Win 10 Pro. Pretty capable machine by my standards.

I’m open to better solutions.

After funding the PC hardware developers/manufacturers over the last 30 years, I’m firmly living 10 years behind the cutting edge.

I have 3 [and a boat load of other legacy stuff] Dell Optiplex 780s [One at the old house, one at the new house and one in the new house’s detached garge/workshop] rescued from the local University Hospital. [~$20 each. No HD, so they got a SSHD, Linux, and a maxxed out 8 Gig RAM.]

I’m a happy camper....
