I had to do a GPU start on an Aero Commander with Garretts once. The cord mating receptacle access is about one foot from the Garrett / prop on the left side. Talk about scary?

A Huffer start on a T-38 NASA shuttle pilots plane was the most interesting. The tower then requested a "maximum performance takeoff and deparure" since it was a slow Sunday. Straight up vertical to 10,000 feet!

Back in the 90's when aviation was wonderful. It's awful now.
