I had the same problem, except that the adhesions were caused by another type of abdominal surgery. The severe pain and complications I had were misdiagnosed for years, until I stumbled upon a doctor who knew just what the problem was.
I had surgery to remove the adhesions, and now the pain is gone. I’m back to running marathons. (Okay. I do not run marathons. But the pain is gone and I watch marathons.)
