Seems like they are chasing a squirrel.
If the security state cannot be reined in, it doesn’t matter if there are UFOs or not. We will live in a dystopian tyranny either way—A surveillance state run by folks running increasingly capable AI systems to make sure their power is never challenged and their boot is never off our necks.
Nothing is more important than reining in the security state and UFO’s are a great big distraction.
What if they are congruent?
Oh, by the way. I handle both at the same time. I am also watching "The Man in the High Castle". Before I go to sleep I read science fiction. On weekends I work in my glorious wood/metal shop. In the mornings I read details of ARM processors and ADC instrumentation. Once a week I have high school robotics kids in the shop to teach them machine shop practices.
You see, I actually have a life that is not centered on the news. On the other hand, my pursuits satisfy me and uplift high school kids. I am completely unable to change anything that happens outside of my sphere of influence.
Maybe it is more appropriate to ask you if you are using your last years on earth in a pleasing and useful manner, or are you merely increasing your blood pressure?
