I would add one element to your enlightened analysis.

Their whole mission isn't just to lead people away from Christ. That's only the beginning of their mission.

They have something in mind for those people who they lead away from Christ (though I'll bet you were thinking in that direction also). Whatever their goal, it seems to be similar to what was hinted at in Gen 6.

Yes, I was kind of leaning in that direction too. I just didn’t want to touch on too many things at once. I tend to think when the fallen angels, messed with human women, the Nephilim were born to them. They were half human and half angelic (fallen) In other words, hybrids, and 100% evil. They were born unredeemable. Jesus was born, lived, died and rose again for 100% humans, not hybrids.
Yes, in the end times, Jesus said it would be as in the days of Noah. What was going in the days of Noah? NEPHILIM. I am not totally sure, of course, but when people receive the mark of the beast, I know they are unredeemable. Could it be, because the mark of the beast turns them in to hybrids? I don’t know, but I do know for sure, they are unredeemable. 😁
