That said, most Americans aren't following this story. FR is one of the only places anyone can see this stuff (God Bless Jim).
What's driving it is that military and intel community whistleblowers are coming out of the woodwork to tell their stories to classified Congressional Intel Committees...and Congress is getting ready to make some hearings public.
As an aside, the reason whistleblowers are coming out is that Congress has indemnified them against any actions taken by the Department of Defense to shut them up...and the DOD is pissed.
There are a couple of UFO forums on Reddit that are worth picking through. Sure, there is a lot of “Majestic 12” garbage...but it is a good depository of most of the recent hearings, videos, and somewhat serious discussions.
Yes...you have to be a discerning reader but anyone who has been following this since the invention of the internet has learned there are a lot of crazy folks out there.
