and meat, guns, A/C and natural gas. Electricity will be prohibitively expensive too.

Or, some “accidents” happen to the social engineers and none of those things will be prohibitively expensive.

Hmm, which is more likely to happen, I wonder? That 99.9% of people on the planet will just accept a lower standard of living for no reason, or that the 0.1% who insist on it will find themselves in an unfortunate situation?

Both my neighbors are union Democrats who like to zoom zoom zoom all day long.

They also like their small engines for doing yard work.

And they vote Democrat Party.

Electricity has the highest level of control over distribution/transmission. Even though there were a small number of large oil companies (quote ‘big oil’) and even smaller number of refining facilities and distribution retail companies, there was still too much competition.

The government wants to have full control over the little man. Electricity is perfect because you don’t just have a limited supply, but you have a single source for distribution/transmission/delivery for the little man. IE: captive audience. NO competition at the consumer level.

A lot of people speak fearfully about the amount of ultimate control and power that digital currency will create, but so would people having a complete dependency of electricity not just for their leisure activities but also for necessities for survival and transportation.

Why is it that every move that is being made is squeezing free market choice out of every equation?

Ultimate power over people.

They love to talk about income disparities, but they never talk about the disparity of freedom and power between the average person and the powerful

Huddle in your cave and eat bugs, or be brought to the death camps. Quite a future these commies have in store for us. Just what does one do for employment when oil, cars, ACs, gas furnaces, and stoves are all banned?
