I don’t care much for cats, but that cat looks very sweet. Sad. Pit owners should serve a mandatory 1 year jail sentence if their dog kills another animal unprovoked. 10 years if a human is attacked. 20 if a human is killed. This crap would end in a hurry.

There was a widely reported story a few years ago. A young woman (in South Carolina?) was attacked by several pit bulls. They mangled her so badly, they had to amputate both her arms.

The owner was charged with a crime. But the reporters apparently lost interest in the story. I never did learn whether he was convicted, or what was his sentence.
