Way back when the Alaska State Troopers gathered up all their trooper stuff. trucks, cars, a chopper, the whole works. They were going to make a big pot bust. Brought along the media and all. The guy with the potato farm wondered what the brouhaha was all about. Face meet egg! It made the Fairbanks paper and all. Still known to old timers as “The Great Potato Bust.” Someone left a potato plant and a pot plant on the desk at their office so they could learn the difference.
