Just my luck, I grab the last message in the thread to give an update from Michigan, and walk right into the middle of something...
ANYWAY, the team I’m working with here found another hack of the system Team Deep state uses (although I’d imagine there may be many here that have followed politics a while that may know it). Apparently they coordinate resignations so that they happen just after elections. They choose their replacement, making the person an incumbent (and therefore more name recognition), and have a significantly better chance to win the next election. We’re not talking just state congress critters, but Supervisors, Clerks, Treasurers, the whole gambit. One local school board only had 2 of the 7 members that were actually elected. And to top it off, if you manage to throw a bad member off a board, guess who you see come back in a year or two after a resignation. Yup, just another one happening locally right now.
Now back to any previously scheduled FreeQ family feud...
