I posted earlier on why someone would leave cocaine in the White House. The renter/drug users I’ve dealt with will leave money, drugs, paraphernalia, tools, expensive stuff because they got high and didn’t remember they had it. They’ll empty the entire house, but leave one entire closet or room untouched because, they got high and forgot it. If I still have a way to contact them, I’ll call them and ask them to come get whatever it is. They’ll be shocked they left, say, all their child’s clothes.

People who get drunk or high are entirely focused on themselves. Nothing else matters.

See the same with employees. They are great for a couple of months while they get their finances in order. Once they get some breathing room, the wheels come off.

One guy called us begging for bail money because he was in jail in a city 2 hours away.
