All of cable news is on the decline. It’s a dying medium. Cable subscribers keep doing two things; dying themselves or cutting the cord. Young folks don’t subscribe. People are either ignoring the news or looking towards online sources. FNC has four former ratings stars all available online; Beck, BOR, Kelly and Carlson. Carlson hasn’t made a living off his online presence yet, but it appears the other three survive with Beck doing quite well.
I don’t know what happens to former CNN and MSNBC opinion hacks, but perhaps they have their small audiences follow them to online programs as well.
