Since the Russians have thoroughly trashed several Ukrainian towns there is no doubt that all economic activity is quite gone there. Nearly the whole population fled, under bombardment, from places like Mariupol, Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Bakhmut.
I suppose that’s one way to clean out sin, by erasing the town, while killing a fair number of the inhabitants.
Also the places Russia has taken, and still holds, in Zaporozhia and the remainder of Kherson, that are still intact, certainly aren’t any evil big cities. These are rural places. Villages and small market towns mainly. The biggest one is Melitopol (prewar pop 150K, probably much less now).
That all certainly isn’t a “honey pot”. Analysis is good. Rhetoric is bad. God loves logic, ask St. Thomas Aquinas.
Its a war stuff gets broken.
