USA (Batista) and USSR (Castro) interfering in Cuba was no more justifiable than Russia and NATO interfering in Ukraine. If you didn’t want Soviet nukes on Cuban soil, perhaps instead of backing the unelected Batista’s coup the USA should’ve backed the elected Socarrás.
