Well, I have served, in a way, having been in a foreign equivalent of US ROTC. I was for a few years technically a Naval reserve officer.

Good for you. Now if you could only give him the wisdom to know when to post. Sure, you can comment on anything, this is America, but in many cases posting only proves the ignorance of the poster when it was merely in doubt before.
