An elderly neighbor talks about the morning years ago that she looked out her Seattle area window. Out in her backyard was a monkey!
The monkey had on a pirate hat and clothing.
And on its shoulder sat a larger green parrot!
She figured her husband would call her crazy so she didn’t say anything about it.
That evening in the news there was a story about how a monkey and parrot had escaped the traveling circus - so she called in her sighting and they caught the pair a day or two later!

Some kind of specter (ectoplasmic?) on the grounds of St John Cemetery in Middle Village, Queens.. It was visible for about a minute. I’d forgotten about it for most of the years since but lately, in my old age, I wonder what or who was behind it and did it have anything to do with me specifically or was I just in the right place at the right time. I don’t think of cemeteries as haunted places since nobody lives there…though there is the accumulated grief factor…
