The discovery of a stash of cocaine in the White House became public because a hazmat team was sent in on the possibility that the white powdery substance might have been anthrax or some other deadly terror weapon. Were it not for the hazmat team’s highly visible and noteworthy arrival, I believe it is quite possible that the matter would have been handled with the discretion for which the Secret Service is famous (and notorious), protecting the privacy of the First Family.
Now that we know about it, there are multiple signs that a coverup is underway to protect someone whom the Secret Service guards.
One: the “evolving” location in which the coke was found

First, it was “near the White House.” Then it was on the “White House complex.” Then it was reported it was found in the library.
But then on Tuesday, July 4th, when most Americans were likely not following the news, we heard that it was in a “work area” in the West Wing….

Biden has plenty of other opportunities to take the cocaine that he doesn't need to hide it in a cubbyhole in the White House Library (or wherever else it was).
So who DOES need to slip away every now and then for a coke fix?
I'm going with a key White House aide whom the administration considers to be key to the success of the Biden administration; someone whom they believe they can't be without, but also someone who's not handling the day-to-day stress of the West Wing too well.
If it were just a run-of-the-mill staffer, that person would have been outed and ousted at the soonest media opportunity. The fact that this hasn't happened says a lot.
The culprit is an administration insider whom the team believes is irreplaceable.
So who can that be?

Perhaps it was not Hunter. But He was seen in the library at around that time and he could be getting away from the new wife so he won’t get caught. I am sure that the new wife has official orders to search Hunters living area for contraband.
Hunter’s stinko “plea deal” is conditioned on his remaining drug-free.
So finding cocaine in the WH area he occupies is a really big deal.

Congressional oversight committees should ensure the Biden administration’s cockamamie DOJ, colluding in a blatant cover up to save Joe and Hunter’s filthy a**es is scuttled pronto.
