Newly formed Marine Corps gets rebranded Jerome July 3, 2023 https://militaryland.net/news/newly-formed-marine-corps-gets-rebranded The officials introduce new visuals for the recently formed Ukrainian Marine Corps. Ukrainian Marine Corps is a new branch of the Armed Forced formed on May 23, 2023. Ukrainian Marines were previously part of the Naval Forces, but due to ongoing Russian invasion and specific needs of Ukrainian marines, they were separated from the Navy and a new branch was created – the Marine Corps. To support the creation of the Marine Corps branch, the officials have decided to unify symbology of all separate marine units and presented a new visual identity of Marine Corps. All emblems now follow the same mix of semi-light and dark blue color background with a silver symbol in the middle.
