My weekend for picnicing was cancelled...but not unexpectedly. The weather reports across the nation made it quite clear rough weather patterns should be expected. So a plan B was already set just in case.

One of my wife’s nieces and her 2 teen girls flew back to the states from across the Atlantic last Saturday and barely got out of Newark to O’Hare.
Her husband wasn’t scheduled until the 3rd, and he had to cancel his return to America flight due to last minute business.
Then, due to previous world wide flight cancellations and rescheduling by millions of other passengers, he could not re schedule his trip to the states for 2+ weeks.
