Wow! ...And it almost has kind of a creepy undertone to it, in parts.

In 2005, when the 2nd KING KONG remake came out, they said it took 11 years to get CGI hair to look realistic. I realized, at that time, that the coding to do so was born and then, irreversible - only to be improved from there on out and more realistic with each iteration. Today, we are now seeing new applications at exponential, light speed. We will be a different world with new problems in only three short years...if we survive that far.

There is also tremendous progress in taking old black and white historical movies and adding color and smoothing out the movie. Pretty soon they will make these movies look like they were shot yesterday.
