And the most important case is this sesssion, Moore v Harper, is tossed in the trash heap of history.
If I read the decision correctly, the Feds have say in the election process. If that is correct, then why did they deny all cases in the 2020 election by stating that all of those cases were the states responsibilities and jurisdiction.
A win for NC in that case would mean that the legislature would have control over the election process, as written in the Constitution. And one could then say that by taking control, no more BS in elections by radicals and outside parties, meaning that electing some worthwhile folks who could have passed laws ending Affirmative Action in their respective states.
One, Moore v Harper, could have/would have led to the end of Affirmative Action in admissions via state laws.
Ending Affirmative Actions doesn’t end election manipulation by corrupt SOSs and Governors, Elias’ lawsuits, etc etc etc. And quite frankly, why anyone cares if some kid loses a spot to get into Harvard because they want the trans-black-indian-with one leg, is beyond me. There are other colleges for those kids to go to and given how much money Harvard has, who in the EFF cares.
When it comes to schools and such, folks should be more concerned about foreign kids getting scholarships in publicly funded schools, athletic and academic, over the American kids whose parents are paying taxes to fund the aforementioned schools.
No reason some electrician should be paying taxes to fund ??? State University and have a scholarship go to some foreign kid while he has to pay for his son or daughter.
