MacGregor has said Ukraine has raised and three armies, losing two and about to lose the third. No one can claiming Ukraine is all but gone ever explains how this war has gone on for fifteen months.

Hey, any criticism of MacGregor is fair game. My own observation of his predictions were last winters waiting for that grand Russian offensive to materialize “as soon as the ground froze”. So he gets a lot of prognostications wrong. Still I find his commentary interesting and thought provoking.

But this conflict has very few reliable/truthful news sources, given our government is knee-deep in Ukrainian kick-backs, we can listen them.

I’m sure you’ve interacted with others enough to recognize the use of hyperbolic expression to make a point, kind of like you do when you paint McGregor as a raving lunatic or as always wrong.

His point is that Ukrainian resistance is essentially over at this point. He believes their army is basically incapacitated for purposes of achieving any of their stated goals. Undoubtedly, the colonel could have been more eloquent in his communication, but it was Twitter, right? To suggest he believes every single Ukrainian soldier is dead and then make a big deal about the absurdity of it is just silly and doesn’t help advance your cause, IMO.

The so-called great Ukrainian counter offensive was the Russians withdrawing.

What a brilliant strategy! The Russian military left thousands of dead Russian soldiers and hundreds of destroyed tanks and trucks to fool the Ukrainians as they withdrew from the area near Kharkiv, the area around Kyiv, and Kherson.

I never realized Russians were so smart. Almost as smart as the people that post propaganda for them.
