And a defective endocrine system - along with serious hormone imbalances it causes, affects the mind as much as it does the body - making one mentally ill. And they try to “fix” it by creating even worse hormone imbalances.

So glad you recognize that there medical conditions that cause gender dysphoria. Calling people mentally ill is lazy and dismissive; the people with these conditions have a horrible enough existence without getting bashed by random people on the internet.
If you know what these conditions are, you will recognize that the “affirmation” approach currently being pushed by the medical industry and radical activists is antithetical to actual science.
For example, boys born with Klinefelters (XXY chromosomes) may occasionally experience gender dysphoria. Giving them testosterone treatments can alleviate GD in most cases; however, under “affirmation” boys are being denied this option in favor of transitioning. This is lunacy.
Schools are passing out chest binders. Anyone with any experience knows that chest binders must be customized to the individual or it can cause serious harm to the ribcage. This is lunacy.
The more we know about the causes of gender dysphoria and the conditions that give rise to them, the easier it is to combat the lunacy and actually help people who are truly afflicted. It’s also easier to fight the contagion.
People think they know what is it, who trans people are, think drag queens are trans (they’re not), and more.
