Asked June 26 about allegations of secret UFO retrieval and reverse-engineering programs, Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) made several stunning statements.
[...]
Rubio’s comments provide context for a bipartisan provision adopted unanimously by the Senate Intelligence Committee, which would immediately halt funding for any secret government or contractor efforts to retrieve and reverse-engineer craft of “non-earth” or “exotic” origin.
This extraordinary language added to the Senate version of the Intelligence authorization bill mirrors and adds significant credibility to a whistleblower’s recent, stunning allegations that a clandestine, decades-long effort to recover, analyze and exploit objects of “non-human” origin has been operating illegally without congressional oversight.
Additionally, the bill instructs individuals with knowledge of such activities to disclose all relevant information and grants legal immunity if the information is reported appropriately within a defined timeframe.
[...}
Beyond the Senate Intelligence Committee, the powerful investigative body that oversees the nation’s intelligence agencies found the aforementioned whistleblower’s allegations — that secret UFO-related programs are illegally withheld from Congress — to be “credible and urgent.”
Moreover, according to two reports, multiple military, intelligence and contractor officials corroborated claims that the U.S. government or private companies possess multiple craft of possible “non-human” origin.
[...]
Perhaps more importantly, the bill language prohibits legal prosecution of individuals with knowledge of surreptitious retrieval and reverse engineering of “non-human” craft. To avoid legal jeopardy, such individuals would have two months after passage of the legislation to inform the director of the Pentagon’s new UFO analysis office of the existence of relevant UFO-related information.
These individuals would then have six months to turn over “all such material and information,” as well as “a comprehensive list of all non-earth origin or exotic [UFO] material.”

Actually I did, Always have been on track with Rooster. But there is a serious note behind all those ignorant Squirrel accusations I wanted to address.
Gotcha!;-)
😁
I hear you. To the extent “squirrel” was ever necessary, that’s far from the case now.
The Reddit UFO thread is the best discussion place on the net. Here’s the link
Well, what you are talking about is the “black budget” funding for the DOD, but despite its name, it is not actually used to fund programs that are illegal, only highly secret programs. The very nature of illegal programs means you must avoid Congressional oversight, and to do that, the most important thing is not to fund them with the Congressional purse.
Not that it never happens that a line item is “misdirected” to an illegal program as a lazy shortcut to obtaining outside financing (or secret internal departmental financing, which does exist outside of Congressional oversight). But even in such a case, the line item would say something other than “Illegal UFO Retrieval Operation: $68 million”, and therefore it wouldn’t be an apparent violation of whatever law they pass. My point is that some Congressmen sitting in Washington DC will never be able to use a pen to stop a program they don’t know about, and a truly illegal program is one they will never have the opportunity to know about, unless some really screws up.
Maybe the aliens came here on a one way ticket. They are already living among us and they all joined the CIA and meet up at Davos every year.
I'm watching the parade just like everyone else.
As I keep repeating, it's too early to draw a conclusion one way or another.
PS My comment to Rooster was a part of a running joke from yesterday (when he didn’t pick up on my sarcasm).
Thx for that link. I’ll check it out!
Yes, read #22. :)
“How about some real proof, an alien or a ship or something beyond fuzzy photos.”
So you give no credibility to the many highly trained military people who have seen unexplained things many times?
I just went to the UFO Reddit thread. Great stuff! Thx again.
I read that thread and caught that...
I made note of your personal efforts there. :)
Seems you are one of the more sensible ones about this topic. Personally I have absolutely no doubt. I am a two time “Without a doubt” eye witness myself.
Yes. It’s fantastic and has the leanest breaking news, extenelybinlligent commentary, etc. there are several hundred thousand posters there. Every angle is covered.
There are lots of credible people with reports but as yet no physical evidence. Show me the evidence!
That was quite astute 👍🏼
I’ve also had experiences for which I can think of no other plausible explanation.
BTW, if so-called aliens are future humans as some people are suggesting at UFO Reddit, I want to chase down my descendants and get them to make me a loan from my bequeathed estate. I think I can enlarge my estate by making some timely AI investments right now (plus I’ll take some cash off the top for a beach house in the meantime). They’ll still get it when I die.
We already have a surfeit of weirdness in this country. We don’t need any wacky aliens adding to the mess. ;)
