I heard a man discussing boycotts and he said they are almost always symbolic. He said the beer one is a great triumph but rare.

He said some things just cannot be avoided to punish the woke types such as flying. He said Delta goes to places others cannot go so people who want to punish the profoundly woke Delta cannot do so if they monopolize some routes.

Delta and others bid on Essential Air Service, EAS, and they get a ton of taxpayer money for flying to those places.

There’s some truth to that. For example, I might hate DeBeers for the fact that they built a monopoly and artificially inflate diamond prices, but if I ever want to get married, I’m probably going to have to dump a chunk of money in DeBeers’ pocket because the woman is going to demand a real diamond and they’re the only game in town.
