Ukraine’s govt could have agreed to neutrality and allowing Russian speakers to teach their kids Russian, but they chose this instead. And it’s getting worse every day.
So the end result will be whatever is left of Ukraine (probably not much of value) will be neutral and Russian can be taught and used in the areas reincorporated into Russia (where they were until Lenin redrew internal borders).
Not really. The US/UK/NATO would not let Ukraine agree to be neutral. So instead Ukraine will be a broken, de-militarized state for the foreseeable future.
