Those Silver Age game show hosts were the best. Art James, Bill Cullen, Jack Barry, Gary Moore, Wink Martindale. Regular guys (Bill Cullen almost qualifies as special needs) who weren’t necessarily handsome, but were likeable guests in the home. I was a game show junkie as a youngster, so I am familiar with most of them. When home sick it was that, cartoons, old sitcoms, or reading comic books (school work?! But I’m SICK!)
I think I read that Bill Cullen had a club foot or something like that. He had been a radio DJ before going to TV.
And the guy on Password married to Betty White. Bill Loudon?
